A Great Day to Go to the Pool

We went to the Olney pool with the Sower's, Keri, Judd, and Lexie today. We had a great time and good snacks. Keri and I even went down the awesome slide. We wore the kids completely out and hopefully they sleep good tonight.

CRAW DADS WITH DAD

Wade and Parker have been gathering crawdads with Brad Davidson. They then are fishing on the river. That has become Parker's favorite past time. He think he might be a professional when he grows up.

Horsin' Around

Elly's dream of riding horses has come true. We started lessons last fall at Sigel, but after the gas prices rose and me already driving to Effingham for work... Toni told us about Traci. She is wonderful and has the perfect horse named Emma that Elly and I have fallen in love with. Traci's love for animals and patience in giving lessons has been a blessing for Elly. Thanks Traci!

Special Days

For the past two weeks I have been working for Lisa...(Who went to CA, Lucky Girl) Elly and Parker had special days with Grandma Barb and then switched. They had individual attention by Grandma and Grandpa and the other with Katie. I think there was some pizza man and Dairy Queen involved too. When at Grandma's there is always some baking or gardening fun.

WE NOW HAVE A BLOG

Thanks to a couple of friends of mine that I read their blogs regularly... The Eaton's now have a blog. Hope to update with family fun and cooking tips here and there. Just do not expect anything fancy.
